Shakila Garugu My mother and my uncles are artists. From my childhood i was very wondered and exited to see their painitings. But infact i didn't get time to do paintings because of my studies. I completed my postgraduation in mathematics. After my marriage i was inspired by old masters paintings and i started doing replica's of old masters paintings . From their paintings i learned technics and depth . Now i can do paintings of my own style. By grace of god and old masters now i became a good artist with complete perfection and iam getting good appreciation and compliments from everyone. This made my life colourful. Thanks to old masters, they are my teachers. Thanks to my husband Sukumar and my kids Shruthi and Neha who gave me much support and encouragement . My all paintings are dedicated to old masters from whom i learned perfect paintings.
